These shots were taken in Nelson, NV with Nevada Camera Club group. It was a lot of fun having thirty avid photographers there with only the moon lighting the sky. This location is a private abandoned mine, 45 minutes drive from Las Vegas. What I enjoyed most doing this project is the similarity of using light as I would to paint acrylics on canvas.
It takes teamwork to do projects like this. We had a focus light person, sweep light person, steady-spot light person and a accent light person for this one shot. This was a 20 second exposure.
