Painting With Light- Nite Shots projects Galleries

Techatticup Mining Camp : These shots were taken in Nelson, NV with Nevada Camera Club group. It was a lot of fun having thirty avid photographers there with only the moon lighting the sky. This location is a private abandoned mine, 45 minutes drive from Las Vegas. What I enjoyed most doing this project is the similarity of using light as I would to paint acrylics on canvas.

Moonrise Over Escalante : This was a Summer moon, so the moon finally came up at 8PM. This was 8 miles outside Escalante, Utah. With a tripod and timed shutter and color manipulation to get a creative lighting. It was tough to get a perspective with the horizon, just because the moon was so far the axis. Anyways, I had fun taking this.
