The Grand Staircase where the Capitol Reef National Park in Utah is located is a big photography heaven. I would look out and see this expansive space that opens up to eternity. Not as huge as the Everest mountains in China, but this was splattered with colors! Reds, whites, oranges, spotty greens, red, amber lines. The small towns are quaint and lovely, too little time to explore. Beautiful!
This is the Fluted Wall, driving into the Natural Bridge, part of the Grand Staircase National Monument. You need a 4X4 vehicle to get into unpaved clay road, that turns into dough after rain, do not take a Mustang, like we did, a 3-day old car (yes, that red thing there) would not be a good choice. This was a 7-panel panorama shot hand-held.
